All have their different niche, categories, and mindset

Normally when people start a blog, they are all excited about SEO, ranking in Google, Monetization, and all those fancy subjects

But what they didn’t realize is that they had missed out some of the most basic things which are needed to take there.

Blogging is more than writing content and pushing the publish button only

When people check your website it is important that they are able to find the info which they are looking for and that too in an efficient manner.

It also Saves Time, Improves Website Design, Keeps your Visitors Glued and Organizes your Info.

Here are some basic ways on how to do that:

⦁ Divide categories clearly
⦁ Make all navigation elements clickable links
⦁ Use accurate navigation titles

If you are using WordPress you can install Yoast and it will Autogenerate your sitemap

Go to https://Yourdomain.com/sitemap_index.xml and you will find your sitemap

To submit your sitemap:

⦁ Go to Google Search Console home page.
⦁ Click on Crawl.
⦁ Next click on Sitemaps.
⦁ Click on ADD/TEST SITEMAP.
⦁ Next, to your domain, there is a text field, add your sitemap
⦁ Click the Submit Sitemap button
⦁ It’s that simple

5. Speed

Did you know that Google has officially declared that they are gonna use site speed as a ranking factor in the Search Engine Results Page (SERPs)

That means it’s the least you can do to improve your SEO

⦁ Significantly Limit, or Remove, Social Sharing Buttons on Your Website
⦁ Load Analytics and Ad Networks Code Asynchronously

⦁ Enable Caching
⦁ Use a Content Delivery Network (CDN)

6. Change Your Permalink to “Post Name”

A permalink is the web address used to link to your content.

⦁ Bad URL: yourdomain.com/23/4/18/Blogs/seo-tips/
⦁ Good URL: Yourdomain.com/seo-tips/

Go to your dashboard > Settings > Permalinks
Change it into “Post Name”

Because you don’t wanna make your URL long

7) Security

An unprotected website is a security risk to customers, business and what not
So, you need to keep your website secure at all times

10. Promote

No matter how amazing your Blog post is, without promoting it
